Job Title: District Manager

The Land Management District Manager is responsible for managing and promoting a growing portfolio of clients for Springdale Land Management, a division of Springdale Agricultural Services.

Major Duties

Oversees the scheduling of work tasks for the Account Manager and ensures all clients are serviced in a timely manner. The District Manager is responsible for assessing, expanding, and implementing activities on all properties in his District. The District Manager supervises an Account Manager and occasional seasonal employees. The District Manager also works closely with the Company owner and landowners on all aspects of property management, including but not limited to organizing hunts for properties (including guiding when needed), landscape management, interior management of all cabins, housing, and lodges, oversee all recreational opportunities, forestry management, acquisition strategies, and property evaluations, and works with all staff on special events. The District Manager should have education and work experience in natural resources management, be fiscally responsible to the company and its clients, have a passion for the work, and have exceptional interpersonal skills.

Job Title: Property Technician

Major Duties

The property technician is responsible for performing and executing the tasks that are given to him by the account manager. The Property Technician works directly under the supervision of the account manager.

The property technician is responsible for all such tasks as the account manager specifies as well as always keeping the properties free from litter and trash, maintaining all roads and trails, and keeping up the maintenance and upkeep of equipment and property of the landowners.  As directed by the account manager, he will be required to put out supplemental feed, maintain blinds and stands, and make sure all gates are locked and closed at the end of the day (unless other arrangements have been made).

The property technician shall possess a valid driver’s license and not have any insurance restrictions. He should be familiar with vehicles, tractors, and assorted tools and implements.

Wildlife Technician/Property Manager

The Wildlife Technician/Property Manager (WTPM) is responsible for obtaining data and information on wildlife and timber on the properties managed by Springdale Land and Game Management (SLGM). The WTPM should have a background in Wildlife Management and Forestry. An associate degree or better in these categories would be preferred. The WTPM works directly under the company president and the District Manager. He/she is also required to work with outside consultants as well, i.e.-foresters, biologists, extension agents, etc. The WTPM should be certified to conduct controlled/Prescribed burns and be certified to handle Restricted use of Pesticides. The Technician should be computer-oriented with all current programs relative to the operations of the business. The technician should be familiar with farm equipment, in particular tractors, implements, trucks, and trailers, and must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record. The WTPM should have education and work experience in Natural Resources Management, be fiscally responsible to the Company and its clients, have a passion for this type of work, and have exceptional interpersonal skills.

Major Duties

The WTPM will be responsible for assessing, expanding, and implementing activities on all properties. He/she will supervise crew leaders, technicians, and occasional seasonal employees. Collect data and information on all pertinent wildlife species, harvest information, trapping information, soil and water information, feeding records, camera surveys, and monitor the health of wildlife. Monitor the supplemental feeding programs on all properties and oversee the trapping programs also. Record information. Assist in the planting of food plots on properties. The WTPM will work closely with the Company owner, District Manager, and landowners on all aspects of property management. Included, but not limited to, will be the following: organizing hunts for properties (including guiding), landscape management, interior management of cabins, homes, lodges barns, and sheds, forestry management and working with all staff on special events.
